Desert Playwrights’ Retreat relies heavily on personal referrals, and most cohorts are curated at least in part by recruitment.
At most there are eight (8) slots open for any one Retreat, which means we inevitably must turn many folks away.
The best way to be in the mix is to make contact with us via social media (check out who’s who on the About page) and sign up for our mailing list.
Playwriting experience factors in very little – we’ve had playwrights writing their first play, and their 20th. Enthusiasm for the artform factors in almost exclusively.
